The foundation of The Global Summit is an ecologically inspired social and economic network of Partners in Empowerment™ (PIE), united in action through The Global Summit events and online forums.
Whether a media group leads a cause-based marketing campaign to stop AIDS, a university creates greener technology, or an artist inspires a child in need, social, economic, and environmental impact is deepened through mult-sector collaboration.
Comprised of six mutually supportive sectors, Partners in Empowerment™ understand, that by bringing the best of our resources and ideas to the table, we build a better world for humanity.

1PIE Collaboration Portal
In
collaboration with internet visionaries, The Global Summit is developing
an online collaboration portal called 1PIE to be hosted and promoted
via TGS partner sites.
1PIE will empower year round community action through the following applications:
1. Local action calendars with cultural arts events, educational workshops, sustainable business promotions and publications;
2. Critical Mass Campaigns (Policy, Action & Public Awareness) enabling groups with common goals to raise their collective voices for greater impact / public awareness;
3. Online Eco-Mall generating resources for community-based initiatives;
4. Appropriate technology database links supporting transfer to local program areas & partners;
5. Program collaboration tools supporting locally identified goals and needs;
6. Local needs assessments using universal program indicators to facilitate partner collaboration in program areas to reduce duplication and increase collective impact.
7. The Global Sustainability Index - an evaluation tool and success showcase. The index will measure progress and specific actions related to face-to-face commitments made by members during The Global Summit “Global Citizen Solution Councils”.
