Two Submission Areas:
1. Nominate / be an expert "Partner In Empowerment"! We are looking for 35 Local & Global Expert Delegates to be part of the Global Citizen Solution Councils to address the following issues:
1. Oceans, Bio-diversity and Food Security
2. Climate Change, Social Impact and What We can do
3. Women's Health, Child Welfare and Human Dignity
4. Conflict, Scarcity and Human Population
5. Peace, Oil and Bio-regional Trade
6. Free Speech, Free Press & Self-governance
7. Reconciling Local Living Economies and our Global Currency System in the 21st Century
In 500 words or less, tell us about your professional background and achievements and why you should be chosen. Also tell us which one or more of the Partners In Empowerment™ (PIE) sectors) applies to you (or your nominee): Artists in Action, Social Entrepreneurship, For-Impact Organizations, For-Profit Businesses, Media and Communications, and/or Education and Research.
2. Deliver/ Present/ Exhibit/ Co-Create (within one of following Program Areas) *Program Partners who are selected will receive a 3-day conference pass and recognition in program.
"Workshops delivering 7 Stages to Sustainability (7SS) Training & Best Practices" – We are looking for HIGHLY INTERACTIVE, SKILL BUILDING workshops (60 minutes each) delivering "how to" tools that get attendees from various sectors working together to co-create Social, Economic and Environmental solutions. *In 500 words or less, tell us how your workshop will be interactive & which of the 7 Stages to Sustainability it MOST relates to. "Sustainable Technology Expo" – We are looking for THE greenest, cleanest and most grass-roots friendly technologies in energy, transportation, health, agriculture, h20, information technology, education, construction or 'blue-sky'. All conference attendees will vote in the "Global Citizens Choice" awards for "what works best" in each category, for intended environments (urban, industrial, or rural). * In 500 words or less, describe your technology's purpose and unique impact. “Concerts & Culture/ Art Exhibition” - The Global Summit II will feature live music, global fine art, transformational media, evolutionary art installations demonstrating sustainable solutions, short films, and theatrical dance performances throughout three days and in special evening events. In 500 words or less, tell us how your Art Installation and/ or Performance Art demonstrates our 2010 theme, "Humanity Uniting for a Sustainable Future" along with website link, photos (in PDF, Jpeg, GIF or PNG), video, or other creative sample.
