Nov. 16-18, 2008, 200 environmental, humanitarian and business leaders gathered in SF to lay the bedrock of a new system for collaboration with the potential to change history-- one that harnesses the unique strength of each citizen, business, and organization in collective action.

They had the vision and courage to participate in The Global Summit Founding Symposium. We "all" had one thing in common: We knew we couldn’t do it alone.

Now, over a year later--despite the collapse of the global economy-- TGS organizing tools and online capabilites to realize this system, have matured and expanded globally.

In the new global economy, innovation is happening at the nexus of diverse public, private, and civil society sectors. It requires a context where that collaboration can take place. And that is what THE GLOBAL SUMMIT is.

The Global Summit II will be held Nov 8-10, 2010 in SAN FRANCISCO at the Fort Mason Center - one of the most inspirational spaces on Earth. Through its three days and nights of interactive solution-making,  dynamic speakers, transformational films, music & art installations, and a sustainable technology expo, The Global Summit II will empower and unite the voices of local and global citizens, extraordinary artists, business icons from every generation in collective action for a Sustainable Future.

At The Global Summit II, through expert facilitated collaboration processes, you will have the opportunity to co-create real-world solutions WITH the social, economic and environmental thought leaders of our time in the areas that matter most to you.
